The flavours of multicultural Warsaw – culinary workshops
After Poland regained its independence everything changed, including in the kitchen. And Warsaw became the capital not only of the country, but also of taste.
Enjoy the taste of independence of the 1920s and 30s. Polish cuisine after 1918 is a rich mix of different culinary traditions, flavours, possibilities, and fashions. We will find out what transformation Polish cuisine underwent in those times, and we will consider what remained of the legacy of Old Polish cuisine. Then, under the supervision of professional chefs and with the help of educators, we will prepare dishes according to recipes from books from the beginning of the 20th century. At the end, we will sit down at the table to taste the dishes we have prepared together.
Classes are especially recommended for students of gastronomic schools.
